the traveling moleskine project

the story of an exceptional notebook and its journey

Thursday, 11 December 2008

Hello Again!!!

I am finally finished and the book is ready to hit the road. The next stop will be Argentina---so exciting!!! Here are some photos of my contribution---hope you enjoy.

1) The first shot I added to give you an idea of where the book is...this is a few minutes from my apartment. Peace Park :)

2) The next shot: First Encounter of the Two

Those are the only two that need explanation I guess...have a great time with the book! I am looking forward to seeing it evolve.

The All New Adventures Of Me

the idea

i buy 2 large moleskines notebook with plain paper, 1 black 1 red, the moleskines then get put into parcels to be sent around the world for other people to do whatever they want on the pages.
and yes i do know about the other notebook projects going on in the world but this one will be ours.

take a look at this.

how do i get involved?

send a message to
moleskineproject.blogspot@googlemail.com
with the following details
your name, how you came across the project, if you have a blog or website, and if you wish to put your eight pages in 1 book or put a little bit in each of them.

the conditions

the moleskine is only in your possesion for 2 weeks.
all entry's must have a date, name and place of entry
each person can use a maximum of 8 pages (you don't have to use all 8 pages.)
you can write, sketch, paint or glue anything into the moleskine but there should be no explicit content, this is a family friendly project.
all entry's into the moleskine must be scanned or photographed and will be posted on this blog via flickr.
authors must give the rights to any work within the moleskine to the owner of the moleskine and any other contributor for there own use.
all forward postage is paid for by each sender.
all addresses and personal info will be treated with the upmost respect.

how do i know where to send it next?

obvious question, simple answer,
i will keep a list of addresses of all the participants and each time the moleskine is sent on i will email the person its going to with the next address it should go to.
all you have to do is read the email, send the moleskine to the address i sent to you, then email me to say its been sent and i then know its time to send another address out.
